The Big Wheel keeps turning. One minute you’re at the top of the wheel and next you’re at the bottom. We like to think we want to stay at the top of the wheel, as this is the pinnacle of the ride. But imagine the wheel stopped at the top, we would enjoy the site for a while however the company would be very lonely. Once we start moving coming back down we would be pretty happy to feel ourselves moving again. Once we make the bottom we start to climb back up again, which is a great feeling to have. As long as the wheel keeps moving we are happy, if it stops anywhere along the ride we would get bored of the situation and position we are in. Keep the big wheel turning.
A family friend gave me the quote in reference to – those that are at the bottom of the wheel will find themselves at the top, and those at the top find themselves at the bottom. I then started to relate this to my life situations. One day I would feel pretty down and just think to myself that in a week’s time I wont feel like this so what’s the point in mentally torturing myself about how down I feel.
