Keep your sense of humor, remain optimistic and don’t forget to dream.

“Keep your sense of humor, remain optimistic and don’t forget to dream,” is on the Duke University ALS Facility’s Wall of Honor. The quote is from my Uncle John who passed away from ALS shortly after Duke recognized him for his contagious optimism and humor, even during his greatest pain. Being optimistic, attempting to spread laughter with the people around me everyday, and being involved with the North Carolina and Florida ALS Chapter is how I honor my Uncle John and live his life lesson everyday 🙂
